Excerpts from 'Messages From Water" by Dr.
Masaru Emoto
'Water and HADO'
...signifies the world of subtle energy related to consciousness synonymous
with 'chi' in Japanese.
As I began doing more research on water, I became interested in taking pictures
of various frozen water crystals. Through these pictures, I have gained a great experience by seeing these 'faces' of water.
These pictures were so wonderful that I just had to show them, so I decided to edit them into this picture book, 'Messages
From Water'.
Water, Humans and Earth
A human being appears on this earth physically for the first time when an
ovum of the mother and sperm of the father meet each other and become a fertilized egg. At this time, water accounts for about
95% of the fertilized egg, in other words, it is almost all water. The amount of water in a matured human body is 70%. No
wonder it is said that the human body is made of water.
Discovery of a New Water Evaluation Method
In order to obtain an example of a crystal we had to photograph as many samples,
under as many conditions as we could think of. It's only physically possible for most people to last about 30 minutes (at
the longest) while taking pictures inside a refrigerator set at 5C below zero. It is impossible to obtain identical crystal
pictures. In other words, it is impossible to perfectly reproduce the same crystal twice. However, crystals can show a certain
distinctive tendency called a grid crystal or laminar crystal structure. Crystals can be identified by this structural
tendency. On page 74 (Vol. 1) there are pictures of crystals taken by freezing 100 samples at a time for one type of water.
Altho there are many examples of crystals in these samples such as beautiful crystals, hexagonal crystals, variable crystals,
or no crystal, we can see that there is a certain tendency in all of the samples to form a grid crystal structure.
We learned many things from these pictures of crystals. Thanks to the cooperation
of several companies and volunteers hitherto, we were able to take pictures of spring water, rain water, river water, lakes
and marshes all across the world and in Japan. We have photographed and stored about 10,000 pictures in 4 and a half years.
